  • I didnt see it, just was going off of reports, and said he was kicked thru the cage, the stairs i could believe.

And yeah TNA is way too run in happy, its ridiculous. Definately a byproduct of the hogan/bischoff influence as well as russo when he was in charge.

You should be happy it wasnt the usual run in bs finish, now that shit I cant stand, especially on PPV.

      • @Robinson
Oh I thought you watched it, you see sometimes that's how spoilers and reports give you the wrong idea.

What actually happened is Roode was going out the cage, opened the door, but decided that he wanted to smash Storm with a beer bottle, he did this and went for the pin, Storm kicked out, and then super kicked Roode, he landed by the cage door that was closed but not locked from when he was just there, Storm then super kicked him again and he went flying out.

Yeah thank god Russo is gone, of course his stench is still all over TNA, it will take them years to recover, still they have been around longer than ECW was, atleast the Original ECW, so who knows what their future holds, Lockdown overall was no worse than any WWE PPV ive watched this year, of course with it being TNA the negative is always highlighted more, which can only be that finish because their was nothing else wrong on the show for me that I remember.

I don't really catch Impact much anymore so cant say anything about that, but I've seen much worse from TNA in the past, so they have improved some what.

        • thats a more plausible ending, it thought it was like the big show throwing austin thru the side of the cage kind of finish.

          • Whoa whoa...ECW revolutionized the business. TNA is just a regular promotion. It's place in history won't be anywhere near ECW's even in 20 years.

            • Not every revolution is a good one.

I think ECW did more harm long term than good short term.

well ecw brought that hardcore style and companies like wcw and wwf basicly stole that concept

basicly what ecw did was bring japan wrestling style matches to the usa

i think financialy ecw didnt make it because they didnt have billions of dollars like the other 2 companies had

imo i think wcw wouldve stayed afloat if bichoff didnt buy every major top star for a crazy amount of money and sadly thats how i see tna

                • My point was, its been around longer, not that it or will revolutionize the business, as I was discussing with Robinson, everything has been done in wrestling, its been pushed as far as it can already.

In 20 years Shane Douglas will be probably doing another ECW reunion PPV.

                  I agree with this.

No TNA doesnt have billion of dollars, its just a well run company (business wise) cant say the same about ECW and their books, ECW was never meant to run with the big boys, thats no reason why it went out of business.

                    • The Fight Club Chicago interviewed boxing analyst Percy Crawford. Crawford revealed that that he had spoken with Paul Heyman about Brock Lesnar working with famed boxing coach Floyd Mayweather Sr. before Lesnar fought Shane Carwin at UFC 116 in July of 2010. Crawford noted that Lesnar ended up turning down the offer.

"I actually offered ... his close friend Paul Heyman to hook him [Lesnar] up with Floyd Mayweather, Sr. [and] Heyman said, 'You know, that's not a bad idea. Let me talk to Brock and get back with ya'," said Crawford. "And then it was like, 'uh, Brock's kinda comfortable in Minnesota. We're gonna go with what we have'."

Where the hell did that come from? I missed Mania so I'm a bit in the dark on the crowd chants.

                          • Last night's crowd was overwhelmingly in favor of Bryan over Kingston, if nothing else, just to shout "YES!" He's already on the road to becoming a face again... which will probably ruin his character.

Am I the only one that thinks AJ looks DAMN good? Depending on her make-up, she can look really good, like last night. There's something about her...
