Superman suit design before bryan singer

Concept designer Eddie Yang has posted two images on his website, revealing for the first time his design concepts for the Superman costume that may have been used before Bryan Singer came on board to make "Superman Returns".

Eddie has been working in the film industry for 22 years, designing characters for such films as: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Spacechimps, They Came From Upstairs, The Grinch, Planet of the Apes, and Men in Black.

I don't really like these but am surprised singer didn't use them, after seeing what he did to xmen

By the look of it I'm certain it emanates from the Tim Burton take that very nearly filmed with Nicolas Cage as Superman.





But that was a long while ago. Even after Burton there was Brett Ratner (who it actually sounded like he had a pretty exciting take on things, and wanted Anthony Hopkins as Jor-El among other things), then McG (who literally wanted Beyonce Knowles for Lois Lane), then finally Bryan Singer.

We're getting DCUC figs of both Red and Blue Supes so it's not entirely gone.
