Yep, but I still thought Zed was cool and Kane's cover awesome. I had remembered GL first as a guy who wasn't on Super Friends enough!

Same here! When Challenge of the Superfriends started airing, I ran home from school just to watch the episodes... and was ticked off when they showed the older ones with Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Mutt.

God, now you have me thinking about the first GL comic I read....I'm pretty sure it was during the Kyle Rayner era. The significant story of him sticking up for his gay friend. That really got to me, but I became super interested during rebirth.

Thanks for all the Welcomes, God to meet y'all. I just fixed 2 PC's that got the NICs knocked out by a lightning storm. The other pc had that stupid ThinkPoint extortion bug that was a pain to get rid of. The PC's were unplugged the the surge went through the router which was blown too. Anyway, I'm back and hope to start contributing more often.
