Just dropping a line to say thanks for the nice forum. It's cool to have a forum like this to help keep track of the newest developments in GL lore.
I was a fan of GL back when I heard what his ring does in the old 80's Superfriends Toons. It's like, "Whoa! he can make things with his ring! He's coole rthan Superman!"
Picked up titles here and there over the years... anybody else really like Guy with a Qwardian ring?... until GL 50 and Parallax. Was so cool to see Hal be the instigator of Zero Hour (hey I was a teenager then! ZH seemed REALLY cool for it's time!).
My number 1 book since the early 2000's is DEF JSA. I love old school 40's heroes like the JSA but as a bonus Geoff Johns was writing and of course, he's the man! Too bad the titles going downhill for me now.
Anyway, thanks again for having me!!! In closing, my list of Top 3 GL/Ringslingers

Alan Scott! Love the fire effect, the history and the Starheart as an alternate to Oa.

As a kid, I loved the evil twin concept that Sinestro embodied. Plus, back before Geoff, Sinestro seemed more interesting than Hal. But then again, most good villians are.
2. Power Ring. Another interesting twist with Volthoom and all. REALLY think he'd could be a major GL foe if a writer cared about him.
