Someone pointed out to me that Emerald Warriors #2 cost more than #1 did. It's not big deal to me, but I was wondering how many people won't buy the title if it's gonna be more than a regular comic.

No, I don't think they're expecting it to go under at all. They like to stick hard-core people with bigger bills. People like Guy fans.

It feels like a huge leap up because it's a dollar whereas in ages past, you can see the prices didn't jump by the same amount (except when viewed with a comparative eye, due to how much equaled how much in which year and all that).
I only have problems when I have to pick up $5.99 issues, but thankfully those are far and few between for me.Villain Draft 3: Fourth Place Winner

But you still can't be shocked at the price, when DC releases the solicititations three months in advanced and it shows you the price.

I was fine when they switched everything to glossy and the price went up accordingly, but is $3.99 really fair for 24 pages or whatever it is?

They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.
