The maxi series closed this week with issue #12. I don’t love locked-in-another-universe stories, but I liked this overall and loved the backstory of John dealing with his mother and her struggles with dementia. Very touching.

I'm disappointed that this didn't continue. It seemed like it started off intended as an ongoing series. I was hoping it would carry on long enough (and the quality would remain high enough) that it could replace Mosaic as THE series I pointed people to who were looking for good John Stewart content. Mosaic is already hard to come by, I think, and will only become moreso given the crimes of the writer. I did thoroughly enjoy this series, though.
