I thought it was interesting to see the order in which Guy tried to contact other GLs. Salaak came first, I assume because Guy figured he was on Oa (as he hardly ever leaves). Then Ganthet (presumably because of they are co-conspirators AND Ganthet is so powerful). Then he calls KYLE, then John, then, as a last resort, Hal (whom he refers to by his LAST name). Kind of gives you a capsule summary of his relationships with the other Earth GLs, doesn't it?

I don't recall hearing that term before. Unless there's a Sector House for 2814, and that's the nickname the Earth GLs use for it?

I also thought it was interesting that Guy and Kilowog sure SEEMED to be a lot less affected by Parallax's presence in the CPB than John and Kyle (and even Ganthet) were. Proximity, maybe? Kyle, John and Ganthet were much nearer to Oa.

Dunno about the rest of u but the first cover sure pumped me up.It will be really interesting to see how this crisis with the gl corps will unfold.More on the matter when i get my hands on issue 8.

Also, i think proximity+older encounters makes them less affected, like md ed said above.

I love the Variant cover, (Hal fan more than Guy fan lol) Anyways It looks really interesting and I think it really is Proximity and Exposure to why Hal, Guy and Kilowog aren't as affected as the others. Though when they get to Oa, I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing the Hal/Guy fight.
No Sir, I punched the viceroy in the stomach, then I headbutted him in the face. Sir.-Hal Jordan

I think it reflected those with whom he more least likely to (in descending order) seek help from in a jam, which goes right along w/yur point actually......

In orbit, I think, then they moved on to Oa. My point is, they were closer to the CPB when it was taken over, which might help explain why they were more effected by it than Guy, Kilowog, or Hal, who were lightyears away.

Good book...was bothered by the lettering snafu when Hal was listing the 6 that were in Rebirth. That and the flow of the Hal/Guy dialogue...seemed they were jumping back and forth between topics. Really took me out of the story.

They seemed affected the same to me. Krona and Parallax took advantage of their underlying gripes to goad them into fighting each other, and it was successful.

This book was WAY better than this month's GL and GLC issues...

Guy Gardner is THE MAN....no way should he he be the guy to give up his ring!

I haven't read the book yet, just the preview. I just noted that, in the preview, there was no sign of Guy or Kilowog being affected at all while they were fighting off all the other GLs, whereas Kyle and John seemed to start acting funny almost right away.
