on the cover of GLC 59 you can see John's Military look.. which kinda sucks if he's going Indigo... The Atom didn't have a scientist look to his Indigo duds

I suppose it depends on what your idea of a 'tribal' look is. Atom went back to his 'sword of the Atom' tribal costume, whereas John has gone for the modern military garb worn by tribal soldiers in North Africa. Besides, John in a tribal outfit? Smacks of old colonial, every-black-man-is-a-savage racism to me

The interesting part is that he didn't even fight back with Ranx. I dunno why he didn't use the Death Ray he's using in War of the GLs back then, with Ranx, and just blow a hole the size of Toledo through him.

I think them fighting Mogo is great. For one, the whole point of the War of the GLs should be the awesome matchups like this.
And also, Mogo has been used as a deus ex machina for too many stories for me, I feel like he's starting to get smug, so I hope he's taken down a few pegs.

I think them fighting Mogo is great. For one, the whole point of the War of the GLs should be the awesome matchups like this.

Let's not forget that Mogo is dead by the time of Legion of three worlds' time, I hope they don't use this war as an excuse to off him out of convenience.

no, not yet. however he does become a topic for discussion early on..........

this was a pretty decent issue, which gives us a *very* interesting historical reveal on the GotUs, and I think Kyle was the most clear-headed person in this ish (so for U fans, rejoice!)

I liked this ish over all. I agree with Hal's strategy, but maybe they're being divided is crucial.
