I also love the set up for this story with someone choosing to stay a Green Lantern despite being choosen by corruption from Krona. Loved that John was getting a worth wild story and being set up for his role in the GLC relaunch in September.

I usually do too, but focusing on that instead of the much bigger John killing Mogo aspect of the War baffles me.

The whole premise of the story is that all of the Green Lanterns that got rings when Mogo was just express mailing them to random people in order to make mind controlled slaves for Krona's army are now being asked to give the rings back because they didn't "earn" them or "deserve" them.

But the main character of this book decides she's not going to give her ring back.

So she gets to be a Green Lantern because she was in the right place at the right time.

I was being hyperbolic by suggesting it was an entire Corps but... that's kinda my thing.
