As a side note, I will be reading GL #1 and am even interested in how Sinestro will work as GL (considering Johns' view that he was the best GL), I just didn't think his becoming a GL was logical or that it would be accepted by other GLs.
I imagine GLs that lost sector partners or family to the Sinestro Corps would indeed resign.

Or worse. Keep in mind that these are 7600 of the strongest willed individuals in the universe. It's not hard to imagine that at least one of them would want to take matters into their own hands.

The only "character development" we've seen in John Stewart over the last 5 years is him constantly talking about Xanshi.

Well... we finally have an issue where there's something else to talk about.

            John killing Mogo.

How many other characters in the DCU feel personally responsible for the death of even one planet much less two?

This isn't about how I see John... it's about how he's written.
Feeling "responsible" and actually killing a planet are two very different things. His "feeling responsible" is cus he is a Marine, and when someone gets kiilled and theres nothing they could do about it they feel "responsible". His actual killing of Mogo was only cus that wimp Kyle had no answer to stop Mogo, so John did what he had to do to save the Corps...

              It's so fucking tedious.
once a planet killer ALWAYS a planet killer.
And John has done it twice!!!

                Jesus Christ...

                what?!

He feels responsible because he did it. He did it because he felt he had to.

Either way... what we're left with is John Stewart feeling responsible/being blamed for the destruction of a planet.

                  Blah filler.

I'm ok with the addition of another character (assuming she isn't cannon fodder for the next event), but the issue was just passing the time until they cancel the book and restart it.

And having John kill Mogo is one of the stupidest things they've done with the character...recently.

Very good because GLC had lost is way since blackest night.
It a title for other lanther and with a human to. It's this style of GLC i like to read. Not that the Qward part was bad, but it wasn't like before Blackest night or like that !

Hope we see more of Qurina. Liked the story. Good to Stewart confident in his actions, and not depressed.
