I thought it was so-so. The change in art didn't bother me. The GLs picking on Kyle is OTT. I link the splash finish.

I liked it, but other than Boodika it didn't really feature any of the stars of GLC. Sure Kyle made a guest appearance, but I'd have liked a better look at some of the regulars that I followed throughout the run.

        Yo.

I thought it was interesting that wat happened to Kyle is almost the same thing that had happened to Hal waaayyyyyyyyyy back early in v2.........and its handled worse here IMO.

theres not much to like here, and since we didnt even get to see John 1 last time, I cant rate this ish any higher than 1*, and thats only due to the Ry'll -gag.........

kinda sad this book came in like a lion, and went out like a mouse; good luck to those who continue on w/v3..........but I think Im done for awhile.

"Interesting's" one word for it. The only reason to bring it up again is to tie in with the movie more. But it'll likely amount to nothing now as it did back then.

This issue was kinda bullshit. With the various characters that have been prominent in GLC and all we get for a last issue is Kyle?? Hell I'm a Kyle fan. NO John, NO Arisia, NO Kilowog? WTF?

With all these final issues coming out for DC i feel that so far only like 2 of them have been a great ending and closure. Those were Red Robin and Detetctive. Jury is still out on Batman.
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

Yeah, they definitely needed more characters. I suppose they felt they did that in Aftermath, but the 2-page splash (which I liked anyway) kind of emphasized everyone who's missing.

Exactly. It is a little to be showcasing "lesser known" GL's. We should be meeting characters like that from the jump

Just read it in about 3 minutes this morning. Talk about going out with a whimper.

It was passable for the kind of story it set out to be, but that kind of story really wasn't the best choice to end this volume. Sure, the book is back on the racks next month with the creative team I WANT on the book, but that's no reason to act like everything up to that is filler. We know it's filler, and DC knows it's filler...but try to bullshit us a little bit next time? At least TRY to make it seem like the end of a series is important.

The art was fine though and I have no complaints there. Though I normally despise using multiple artists to make a deadline, the format of the story made it okay.

                    2 stars...because I'm in a generous mood this morning.

Superboy had a passable wrap-up, but overall I feel DC isn't even pretending these last books are anything but filler. They're all hasty wrap-ups or total fillers (like substitute teacher days).
Heck, DD had to write a special Nation pleading with people to buy the last two months of books.

I saw that and chuckled. "Buy the last couple of months because you love comics!" is a hell of a sales pitch.

1.5 stars if i could give it, settled for one. Could have done completely without this issue.
