Is Salaak an idiot? If you've got a guy that can transport 5 people instantly across great distances, why insist on taking a three hour trek just because you have 30 people to move? Make six trips if you have to, it's GOT to be better than taking the three hours. Or if he can't make repeated trips, bring 5 there right away, and have the REST take the long route.

GLC of the soft reboot on the GL universe is soooo gooood to read. So happy this GL book gives me something to be a GL fan for. This issue bad ass! Salak is a blind fool of the guardians. I wounder if he did some snooping what he would find on the guardians. Lantern Porter I have faith in you! Can't wait to read it.

Review for GLC #3! Sweet issue!
This and GL are at the top of their game. Now, only if NG and RL could catch up.

How to sum up my feelings for this issue? Meh. A solid 2 star issue. I was really excikted for the start of this arc and a rebooted GLC a well but this issue left me flat. Boring. Stale dialog, no real suspense. This writing for the trade is killing me. I may have to drop the monthly and collect this as a tpb. Total waste of gas. There can be only me!

The New Lantern who can teleport was awesome, but the issue lacked substance really. Also the Keepers I don't like because it's just another Manhunter-like villains. No Sir, I punched the viceroy in the stomach, then I headbutted him in the face. Sir.-Hal Jordan

I wasn't overly impressed with this one, nor have I been a big fan of this arc so far.
The baddies have been written into a stereotypical hole which happens so often: First one that shows up is nearly impossible to kill (imagine the movie Alien), even the first few give our GLs a run for their money - big threat, scary. Then what happens? A shitload more show up, and now they've all become weaker and our GLs can hold them off with a lot more ease than before (imagine Aliens, or even Manhunter Robots from GL Mythos). I just hate it when that happens, and it happens so much in fictional media.
The art is alright, nothing great. I was kind of exciting to see a bunch of new GLs show up, but none of them really grabbed me too much. It's not like the splash pages of old where you could sit there for 30 mins and find all sort of obscure guys, like Elvis, Alf or a Predator.
3/5.
