Eh.

Out of all the GL comics so far released (including Red Lanterns) I have found the Green Lantern Corps series to be the least exciting or thought provoking...mainly just because they seem to denote how powerful an enemy is by how many GL's he can kill in the course of 5 seconds. They used to have a really well bonded and cohesive group of lanterns...like Soranik, Bzzt, Hannu, Laira, all intermingled with the Earth lanterns. Now they just kill lanterns like candy. :/ A little disheartening.

The future solicitations strongly suggest Gardner gets out of this somehow. Let's hope Stewart does also. One GL death is already too many. Looking forward to the issue.

Dont trust the solicts, Js nvr gets to know thier leaders, Team Js heading to a pretty dark place... For beheading i guess. GUY playing hard cop here guess who shows up later yesss. a member of former Jla n stormwatch green member. We see the rest of the laterns that escaped vented thier angers. So far this book not too bad but...not great here. Worth 2.5 *

just finished the issue. Not bad. So the guardians dont know anything about them or just probably bullshitting. I would say that this issue has now made me more interested in this line.

While I was elated to see MM unexpectedly showing up, that particular reminder that "Oh yeah... this is a semi-new DCU" I could have done without, but whatever... if not now, such things would creep in sooner or later.

Besides, I think the general idea is more that while Guy knows MM and MM and him have worked together in the past more or less as we've read in pre-DCNu, in the present MM has done a bit of a Max Lord on people that know him to protect Stormwatch.
