    My Take......

Nothing against any of you John fans out there, but realistically how can the dude still be carrying a ring in the first place?
The guy is more of a rogue than Hal.
Just saying, the end of the trial was so predictable, especially with Guy around. So, they demote Hal, put John on trial, and yet the most rogue of them all Guy Gardner is promoted?????
Not following where this is going and the Guardians are making little sense of their actions.
And I remember when Boodika was bad ass, now it would seem she is but a chump.
I miss Arisia, Soranik Natu----Where are they?

The GotU clearly think promoting Guy aids them in bringing down the corps so my guess is he's either a fall guy or expected to start problems.

Boodika got robotnicked, but she was in trouble because she was introduced in the 90s and that just won't fly at DC these days.

I just don't understand why in this issue John Stewart pretty much resigned himself to be killed. I mean, it's like they want to castrate his character or some shit. I was hoping it would be a ruse and then he would escape on his own (didn't GLs used to be able to teleport or tear open holes or stop time?) but instead he's reduced to being once again a prop in a story that should be about him. But that's been the case for years now and it's quite a shame. I hope that this trend stops but at this rate I don't know. I mean, it's like Tomasi and Johns before him only saw the first 5 minutes of the first episode of the first season of JL. Except at least in that he had back bone.

Maybe John feels his decisions and actions are what real men are made of! Make or break! Guess he was disappointed at what he believes in the verdict and the corps! Because it's what keeps his emotions intact and fire burning. Upholding justice and protecting sectors of the universe. But his willing to pay for his 'crime' and accept it like a Real Man even though what he did was a exception! Like shooting down Mogo was to end Kronas crops and protect the innocent and name of the greenlantern corps! His always there to make the toughest decisions! Js I Salute you!
