Honestly i thought it was a bad idea to put them 2gether in the first place. Come on, it was Ice best friend and I know the point was that Guy hooks up with hot chicks but thats pretty dogged out. The way Guy was so over the hills in love with ice in the JLA series than turn around and hook up with her friend(of course i've seen it in real life but you know)...

The breakup was never actually shown on panel. They were together through the rest of GG:W and she was shown hugging him outside Warriors at the end of the JLA/JLI era run .

I cringed reading OMAC Project seeing them act like they never dated or in love with each other. Didio is doing his best to throw GG:W out of continuity.

man, they're tryin to throw from 1985-2000 out the window, and now that Ice is back what is she gonna think about Guy & Fire hookin up.(mayb he can get 2 for 1... LOL)

I think it was more that Beau Smith was trying to show that Fire finally started to see Guy as a hero and saw what Ice say in him.

I don't think Didio is trying to wipe out 1985 to 2000, but maybe 1990 to 2005...

I'm still waiting for Guy to be more like he was in Warrior and he's been pretty MIA in the war.

I don't know-It's gonna be so weird to see them 2gether in GLC. For most people its Lois/Clark or Ollie/Dinah but for me its Guy/Ice and they haven't been 2gether in 10+yrs-they better do the story right and treat the characters right.

I just hope Peter Tomasi gives this the respect is truly deserves.

I would have much preferred Keith Giffen with art by Kevin Mcguire, doing this(especially this) reunion! Both are GUY fans(especially Mcguire).

The only other person who would do this right would be Gail Simone, she brought TORA back after all, and has a great love for the JLI!

I would like to see a trade paperback too [Even though I already have the entire run already] but yeah considering Didio and DC are desperate to throw out GG:W [and most of the 90 stories] I would be more surprised if Guy's relationship with Fire is mentioned.

At least Guy's Vuldarian powers were showin in Rebirth. It would have been worse it they were just forgotten and never spoken of.
