i liked the idea of the alphas as internal affairs, i just didnt like the fact they are absolute and utter slavish unfeeling machines give them some personality apart from smug superiority

Pretty sure Stel is just rebuilt to bad ass levels & is not an Alpha. I highly doubt Kilowog would leave recruits to a crazy heartless manhunter-lite.

Besides, there is no mention of him becoming an alpha anywhere

i wana see new lanterns doing new things to be honest. im tired of the same old same olds. we got green lantern goin. green lantern corps goin. guys gettin a mini series. maby they need like a green lantern in training series. like a whole series on new reruits and them being trained so they could introduce some new lanters cuz didnt the planet thing unleash hella rings but we wont see any new lanterns tho will we. no. we will se the same boring fuckers. where can i make this sugestion. who can i write. do they have a sugestion box email type thing? the writers the editers. i want new lanterns damnit. i wana see what they go through to become lanterns. its not a day long process. plus we have a new trainer since wog aint trainin so itll be a new twist.

Much as I'm not big on the Alpha Lanterns I gotta say It'd be a cool t-shirt. what'd make it really cool is to have it be not a drawing of a lantern in a chamber of energy but rather a photograph so it looked like it was actually in the person's chest. (done right it could be a number one best seller!)

Edit: well, It happened again last night! a co-worker of mine saw me reading GLC Recharge and lloked at the cover and said "I thought Green Lantern was Black!" He also thought John was the original GL.......after bouncing off the walls a few dozen times and exploding like the Central Power Battery (and aren't we do for another CPB explosion?) I explained the order of induction.
