Finally they reunite!

Great opening, GUY the romantic, what a sweet embrace!.
But then it all felt quite off. I don't know, maybe i was expecting a lot more!

Shit, they haven't seen each other or been together for what feels like forever and TORA gives GUY a somewhat cold shoulder.

Ok maybe i'm just impatient and there's a lot more still to come, she has been "dead" for a long time so who knows! This is the one moment i've been hoping for ( for what feels like ages ever since it was teased at in ICBINTJL ) and just seemed out of soughts.

TORA was much warmer to Beatrice on her return, but again it could be that with all the craziness going on , she needs time to reflect. Or Fire told her about the fling she had with GUY ( i hope not, this could be taken totally out of context).

What i did enjoy though was the "come hell or high water" speech! So typically GUY. He does show maturity ( amazing how much his character has grown over the years ), by giving TORA the space she wants and probably needs!

HEY Geoff or Peter please oh please ask Gail Simone to write us a proper GUY and TORA reunion on his return ( a mini-series would be cool )
Otherwise ask the master himself, Keith Giffen!

Anyhow i'm just over the moon that my favourite couple are back together!(or are they?)

Yeah, why is it whenever one-half of a comic book couple returns from the dead, one of them always "needs more time."

Geeze, if me or my wife were to die (God forbid) and came back from the dead, I'm pretty sure she or I wouldn't waste any more time moping around because, "gee whiz, I'm alive again. I think I'll lollygag around and look this gift horse in the mouth."

I agree. He needs somebody. Kyle on the other hand needs to take a break. He's 0-3. Everyone has died at some point. Maybe he can date powergirl she has invulnerability and durability.

I thought some crazy russian dude brought her back from the dead planning on using her as some kind of ressurrected god figure to usurp power in Russia then use her as some kind of pupper ruler.

But the Birds of Prey and the Secret Six messed that all up.

She came back in Birds of Prey #105. She then appeared in 106 and 107, and then came back in that month's Checkmate to reunite with Fire.

I didn't mean that Birds and S6 messed up her ressurrection story I meant that the two teams interfered with the mad Russian's plot. They saved her... and almost got killed by her. She was psychotic when she woke up... which now that I think about it... hrm...

It didn't say exactly how he resurrected her did it? Maybe a lazarus pit? Her rage when they woke her up could be explained by that.

Amen to that! I've been waiting for a decent attempt at their relationship since the Giffen era. As much as I loved them as a couple and I was sold from the Invasion mini-series, there was often too much parody in it. I'd like to see them have that first date now that Guy's a little less of an ass.

I agree. It was good back then, but Guy is more mature now... let's see where it goes this time around (and hopefully the tendency to revert Guy to how he was back then is avoided).

I agree, and I hope the "I need time" thing is just to stretch things out a little bit so it doesn't just seem like Guy waving a magic wand and getting back together with her.
