    Well i just picked this up at the 'bloc from Reed (one of the posters), GUY GARDNER was officially 40 as of the 11 january 2008!
    Yep, he made his debut 11 january 1968!

    GO GUY!

              LOL, Guy was a bit different back in GL #59. He was pretty much like Hal Jordan or any other classic DC silver age hero. It wasn't until Steve Englehart and Joe Staton brought him out of his coma in time for COIE that he showed the least bit of personality. What a memorable character he turned out to be though! Pretty similar to how Green Arrow was jazzed up in the JLA and GL/GA by O'Neil.

              Happy birthday to the one true GL! Still entertaining GL fans around the world!
