The difference between New Guardians and Green Lanterns?

You know a lot of people like the New Guardians and the other colored lanterns.

You know there are just as many who dislike them, and want them to go away.

Those that like the idea should read the NG book and those fan boys that don't should just ignore it and quit pissing in everyone else cheerios. But hey that's just my opinion.

I usually have to take a break from the forum to avoid negativity getting to me. New Guardians is one of the very few DC books I'm actually looking forward to with the reboot happening.

The New Guardians were created to sell toys and appeal to a broader and less discerning audience.

The Green Lanterns were created to sell comic books and tell interesting stories.

Why the generally negative vibe around Arkillo? When he first showed up, people loved him. When he fought Kilowog, people loved that fight. When he fought Mongul, at least half of us if not more, wanted him to win.

And now he's not good enough to be part of the NGs? Aside from Sinestro, Mongul and perhaps Cyborg Superman (although he doesn't really count) he's the most recognizable of the Sinners.

What negative vibe? I like that he´s gonna get a role. But I wonder how they are gonna keep such a maniac in that team. At least Bleez you can talk to. Arkillo has a better chance to eat you.

I meant in the way she´s far less likely to rip your head off unless told so. Arkillo on the other hand... I didn´t meant talking in a way of having a conversation. Basically unless she has a beef with you your safe.
