Since most artists make it look like shit more times than not, I don't mind if the mask has to go in favor of a better suit design. I remember trying to draw it as a kid in elementary school and getting pissed because it never looked right LOL

But there are artists that can pull it off. And I think the suit design on your costume is boring aswell. The entire suit dosen't realy scream Kyle, it just looks like Sodam Yat in a cheap Kyle costume. His face actuly looks like Sodam Yat and not Kyle.

The list is pretty short. Bank$, Eaglesham, Pelettier, Pasarin, and Kirkham.... For the record, even when Jim Lee drew the original crab-mask suit for the cover of GL #150, the crab-mask was wrong. IIRC he drew tiny diamond shapes on the bottom and just shaped the rest of the mask in a single piece.

And it's not my costume design, it's what he had in Justice League Unlimited minus the green boots. If it were me, I'd have kept the additional black symbols on the shoulders and shaped the torso area the same as the Lee suit, and given him green gloves. Basically the Lee suit without all the extra stuff. But for the cartoon, I thought it was a good step up from the original suit he was in [that's now John Stewart's costume].

I've got a few costume designs you'd probably like, but the quality of the colors were muddled from being saved as JPEG's. You should look them up.

IMHO just keep the glowing chest symbol, that's what it's all about. And preferably the crabmask Tyler Kirkham style. You guys can do what you like with the rest.

I prefer the traditional green lantern logo on him. I think it's wise not to mess with the logo now we have the emotional spectrum.

Not a fan of that Alan Scott inspired costume at all. It looks like they took the worst elements from both costumes and combined them. They'd have done better by rehashing the 90's version.

Those are his tow worst costumes. And that Generations costume, it looks like shit, living shit! It's like Kyle went mad and colour blind at the same time! If you all like the Ion symbol so much, you should like this one, I do!

That almost looks like somebody pulled some recoloring job on one or two of my micros and threw random parts from 2 or 3 suits to make one that's uber-crap on purpose.

And never say "once and for all" cause everybody has at least a handful of Kyle designs and the masses will never agree on one design.

BTW, Ion/Kyle vs Nova Prime/Richard.... Kyle wins hands down with an army of mecha constructs after destroying the helmet.
