Is The New Guardians book good?

The entities coming along would be awesome. I think that it would be an awesome move for the story. Have each member become the holder of the entity to their respected to corps. And that would also be how Glommy becomes an actual being not just a construct.

I hope the entities show up sooner or later and the New Guardians have actual Guardian level powers. I'd love to see a Butcher/Bleez, or a Parallax/Arkillo (I made him P-lax in my Dark Lantern story), and of course another Ion/Kyle....

I like GLNG and maybe I'd prefer it over GLC, because the story seems a bit broader wtih (for me) more interesting characters. Also I like the characters from the other corps and think that they - as a whole group - team up well. Looking forward to know what will happen with Invictus (and if he'll be "invictus" hehehe).

I agree. I wish there was atleast one other real member of the orange lantern corps to challange agent orange once in awhile.

Exactly, I just read 1-7 and I have to say that this is going to be a very good story. I really like Glomulus. I hope that he's his own character after awhile. Like they find some way to make him real and not just a construct from Larfleeze. But its still a really good story.

Ok so I got my isues 1-6 yesterday and started to read them and I have to say that they are awesome so far. I have only read issues 1-3. But I like the direction its going so far. I can't wait to see how the rest of this story arc unfolds.

As soon as they get here I will be sure to update everyone about my thoughts on the story. I did read number 7 the other day and I did like where that was going. I know that more of it will make sense when I read the other previous issues. So I'm excited.

I think that the book is pretty good. I just picked up issues 1-6 on ebay.

I've been enjoying it, but it still hasn't convinced me that having this group work together on an ongoing basis is remotely plausible. If it can't do that (and I'm having a hard time seeing how it can) I'm not sure how long I can put up with them working together anyway.

New Guardians has been pretty good thus far and it's interesting seeing development done with characters like Fatality and Arkillo that doesn't affect what's going on in GL or GLC. I can't wait to read more about Arkillo getting a special yellow ring since the rest of the Sinestros have been deactivated/put into a coma, and with the writer talking about some character driven Kyle issues on Earth sooner than later it's worth sticking around.

However if the rumor is true about Tyler leaving the title I hope we can get somebody else familiar with drawing Kyle like Dale Eaglesham.

Just buy some back issues, that's what I did with swamp-thing, and what i'm gonna do with new guardians. Hell, I even did it with red lanterns. What if the store has #6 or beyond there. Will you buy the older ones then?

Yea I'm gonna buy as many of them as they have and pick up on the story from there. I can always try buying the other issues I need later. Or just the trade when it comes out and re read the ones that are coming out now after that.
