I like it so far, but Walker's reason for attacking Larfleeze is just as flimy and nonsensical as Bleeze's for attacking the Saphire's.

I want to like the cover, but Arkillo is a mess of floating limbs.

He's irrational because he's upset. It's not logical, but given what he knows, it's not too unreasonable. Of course, he can't imagine Ganthet would sell them out like that (aka, it's likely the Guardians, but they won't find out until they confront Larfleeze).

He may be irational, but it's still quite the leap. You can only stretch the "irrational" card so far.

Maybe if they had shown a bit more of his thinking process I'd buy into it. But he takes one look at the Reach and goes for .... Larfleeze? Um, no. Mybe you buy into that, but I'm not convinved.

Makes sense Ion...by throwing the corps into disarray and making sure "goody-two-shoes" Kyle is occupied with them, it makes it that much easier to execute their plans.

Not bad, actually. I rather like the cover.

Invictus's actions also present a huge dilemma for the team. They could barely withstand his power before, and now that he's on the warpath, they're going to have trouble not sparing Larfleeze to confront a mad Archangel.

Looks good. I've not even got #10 yet though.

Liked this issue a lot. The battle was cool and there were some good dialogue moments.

                        Fucking garbage.

For Glommy! For a contruct of someone who died years ago! The whole book's thrust comes from the motivations of various characters that are stunningly lame. Characters are fighting all over the place for no good reason. It's been a year and the major mystery is finally being revealed. And it's...Sayd who's behind everything? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to care or no. I THINK I'm supposed to care but I can't quite tell.

I know it's my own fault for sticking with a book that's plainly written for 9 year olds, but I can't help but want to throw the blame back at DC for publishing this farce. I wish they'd end this series and replace it with a good GL title.

Wow, I just read this issue and I got to agree with you on this one.

I really want to like this title and found the first 6 issues or so compelling. As of now, I think it is the worst GL title, yes I put it below RL which I hate. This issue was garbage, rushed and poorly drawn art.

I guess Tyler doesn't care about quality since he is moving to Teen Titans after the next issue. I hope he take Tony Bedard with him. I have to say the worst part of the book is clearly the dialog. "For Glomulus!" Really? Give me a freaking break.

I felt like I was reading picture book for kindergarteners or mongoloids. It really feels like everything that has happened up to this point could have been told over 6 issues and they decided to stretch it out until the 3rd Army arc because Bedard has 0 creative talent. Thanks guys for f'ing Kyle up.

But, but ... he's cute. Anyway, I could see coming to care for a ghost-like character. I loved the hang-dog look on Glommy's face when Larfleeze revealed he knew everything Glommy does (Duh!).

I'd say it's campy, but I love camp. Besides, I'm read GL:AS, which is clearly meant for an even younger audience, so it doesn't bother me.
