I see they updated the cover (in the link, not the one you have posted here) with Jediah Caul's new hair color. I was wondering about that, once we saw images of him from Threshold. Made me think that maybe this cover WAS supposed to be Kyle somehow. Glad to see it isn't.

No, he needs both SD80MAC. For the record if they replaced the little mask with the crabmask, that would be perfect for Kyle. Really sad it issn't. His current look is so plain and boring.

as long as Kyle's new costume isn't rainbow colored from all the emotions he's handling, I'm ok with it!

The new colors are an improvement. Maybe they realised he looked way too much like Kyle.

I really hate how everyone's drawing Arkillo, though. He looks like a Warner Bros cartoon character more than something even remotely fearsome.

I absolutely loved the preview; I want an Arkillo and Saint Walker book I love the pairing with these two. I am intrigued with Lady Styx being mentioned and Carol's mission. Can't wait to see what Kyle has to go through for Love. I love Jediah's recolors on the cover and can't wait to see how he is. I am so excited for this and Threshold.

I am intrigued with Lady Styx being mentioned and Carol's mission.

For more on the new52 Lady Styx, pick up Blue Beetle #0 (Nov 2012) to see Lady Styx's origin. Quite different from what I read from Animal Man pre-new52.

Poll: One star. Good writing, art was terrible, too many "humans", too easily predictable betrayals. The only conclusion I draw from reading the Annual is that more GLs need an alternative weapon/defense/spacesuit.

The story on its own was okay, but as a GL story, it was awful. Kyle's only in it for a few pages, and the other Lanterns were idiots.
