A more natural problem with love would be all of his girlfriends dying .... but since that can't happen now I guess this is the next best option.

I feel a lot calmer now than I did last month about them retconning issue #1, but that birthday scene still annoys the Hell out of me. If they're going to highlight that Kyle, John, Hal, and Guy were all GLs together at the same time, I'd really like to know why there's four GLs for that sector alone when there should only be two max (and I'll just assume sector partners have always been in place and not new with GL: Recharge). I mean, there's a way to do this (they could just rework the scene in issue #1 to be some new crisis that puts everyone out of action), but they will never actually explain it.

I think I'm dropping the book after the Volthoom attack. I'm tired of feeling more annoyed than entertained by this book. But I'll mull it over.

(this opinion is just based off the preview)

Glad to see that they didn't just handle Kyle dealing with the violet light off panel.

Best issue of the series by far.

I hope the art is better than last month's. That was awful.

Okay, this issue was very good. Despite my annoyance at the page. But I do notice they snuck in G'Nort, so i guess that page isn't all bad. But I still want an explanation about how Kyle (and John for that matter) got the ring.

Barely worth it, in my opinion. The writers have been making Kyle more and more expressionless behind that mask for the last 4 issues.

So we finally get to see not Super-Lantern "grey" Kyle Rayner, but all-in-one White Lantern Kyle. And that's as much spoiler as I feel free to give.

The "taxicab" scene with Walker and Carol bunched up in the back seat of the shuttlecraft because of Arkillo's muscle bulk was hilarious. Now THAT was good writing.

Is this a good time to voice my wish that Kyle was going to become a White Lantern, only to be banished back in time by the Guardians and found by the Guardians-then to become their First Lantern? Instead of Volthoom. Once again, a story missed by the writers...

                        It's not.

But aside from a few inconsistencies, the issue was very good.

I'd take Aaron Kuder over Tyler Kirkham ANY DAY.

No way. Kirkham's Kyle at least looks like Kyle. Kuder's is far too inconsistent, especially during the flashbacks. Those look nothing like Kyle at all.
