You swap out Jade for Alex (or Even Donna if she's ever re-established)

Doesn't really matter who's in the crystal as long as it wasn't Soranik.

On top of that no writer has yet to confirm if the relationship even happened or not between Kyle and Soranik.

As of September 2011, Jade has never existed. However, here's a list of all of her appearances before they erased her from continuity.
