Great issue. I'm finding it really interesting how Relic is being setup here, and there's some very nice touches, like how he refers to each of the Corps differently (Terror, Resolve and Passion) that help emphasise he's coming from a different universe.

Pretty brutal ending. I wonder if this was what was referred to as part of Lights Out, or if that's still to come.

Couldn't resist looking. Kind of relief. Still seems like a sad, sad thing, but doesn't piss me off as much as what I THOUGHT it could mean would have. I was afraid they'd killed off the Templar Guardians already. THAT would have pissed me off, as I'm already mad about the hatchet job Johns did on the last set. Killing off the replacements, especially this soon, would make me throw down the book in disgust.

You know what I like about this comic, and Relic, and all the new stuff? They're doing exactly what a lot of people wanted, getting rid of, or toning down, the Emo Spec. Awesome all around, GL finally feels like it's getting back to where it should be.

That being said, New Guardians has gotten unbelievably good since the new team took over.

I actually liked Warth's costume the best out of the Blues. Saint Walker's looks like a cut and paste of every other Corps.
