Plus his omnipotence was already explored during his first Ion powers a long time ago.

I remember that story arc. Kyle said he figured out how he could go back and save Cost City and bring back Hal without changing anything else. I believe he referred to it as being like "pulling a single string without unraveling the entire thing"

This title is still strong, but this wasn't the best issue. Destroying the BLC sans Walker seems lazy. Characters like Warth have barely begun to develop. Also, I'm getting really tired of the GOTU, old or new, being a part of every story. What's the purpose of the GLC or Kyle's current power if there is a Guardian(s) to personally confront the threat?

Relic seems pretty unique so far. I get the feeling we'll see a story where Nekron and Relic team up in the not-to-distance future.

Lastly, I have mixed feelings on the art. Carol, Relic, and the GOTU look fine, but the switch of the creative teams hasn't stopped Kyle from being drawn like a 15-year-old. I know DC wanted to "go young" with the New 52 concept, but does Kyle really have to look like a Teen Titan?
