Five years into the future and I still hate the Kyle/Carol relationship.

Now that the gripe is out of the way I will wait to talk about plot points till everyone else has had a chance to read it and the poll has been posted.

    Two stars from me.

        Very disappointing.

We already had cynical commando John, did we really need bats**t crazy Kyle too?

You don't have to do that. It's a spoiler thread. If people didn't want spoilers, they shouldn't click on the issue threads until they've read them.

I enjoyed it. I knew from the opening narration that Kyle would end up being the villain. We all knew that these Futures End tie in issues were a waste so for Justin Jordan tie in to Geoff Johns final GL issue it was a nice little surprise. AND he tied it into what's going on currently in his own book. That's just good writing. You may not like the personality Kyle showed (which I think can be justified both ways: Kyle shouldn't be that guy ever & That's just the kind of guy you turn into when given those powers and issues to deal with) but this is the concept of the New Guardians book.

And the art was good too which shouldn't be looked over because that is a HUGE rarity in a tie-in issue. This issue didn't wow me at any moment, but I still thought it was a solid story with solid art and excellent execution.

Worse Lantern FE tie-in yet. And that's saying something.

Love it. long hair Kyle Rayner look so awesome please make this happen!

Also I dont think he was the villain at all. He was becoming one with the source and needed to find his replacement, so he erase the sufering from the universe before passing the torch. On the other hand Kyle girlfriend dying again I dont like it so much..

                  And ditto.

Nothing in this issue but reminisces of the God Killers and the Guardians.

This is an issue to read in the comic book rack while the owner is distracted; don't waste your money.

I for one think that this issue was good. I'm a little worried that they are going to get rid of Kyle though. If that does happen then I can't support anything DC does from here on out.

Oh no, I don't like this direction for Kyle at all.
