Actually, I would think Sinestro would be more likely to respect Kyle for DOING something like that, rather than refraining from doing so. Y'know, unless he tried to do it, and failed miserably.

      Yeah. I checked. It was GL:NG 35.

I did not hate this issue because the story moved forward at a better pace this time.
Proud owner of a Justice League Europe number 1 issue.
Which currently is worth less than my Kick-Ass 2 issue 1.

Okay, the plot was palatable right until the very end. Right when Kyle got the White ring back. Then - nothing! (Trying not to spoiler too much.)

Loved John Stewart and Bro'Dee Walker being there. Loved the reunion of the missing people with each other. Loved the Templar Guardians' "secret plan" (I knew it!). Even Kyle throwing a rock at one of the New Gods was believable. The follow-up wasn't. Kyle's fought with sticks and stones before when his power ring ran out of power, and he's learned how to fight without the power ring. He has just never won a fistfight when it mattered, like against Sinestro. The GLCs being "stuck" in the prison not thinking beyond using their rings in the same way, not even again and again, was not believable. Use some of that alien intelligence!

Artwork was all over the place. Coloring was good. Details on faces and muscles was bad. It was like a camera that never got into focus, it just kept switching from action to action.

I can't decide if Carol is sticking with Kyle just to give him an "anchor", or if she's ready to go back to Hal. But, Rule #1 - Women Are Crazy, so I'm at a loss here.

Like I said before, big letdown at the end. Can't have Godhead end just yet, gotta keep the fans guessing. It's like we were so close to Bro'Dee Walker getting his blue ring back, and then it didn't happen.

          3/5 stars.

Aah! I missed that. Thanks for pointing that out - I went and reread it.

It appears they are saving Saint Walker going blue again until the annual. Vendetti said to look forward to the annual if you are a Saint Walker fan.
"My mind is deluged with thoughts of Heaven and Hell,
Crime and Punishment, Damnation and Redemption. Hal
              Jordan... And The Spectre.

I'm dead, yet I live. I have no identity. Yet I know
who I am. And once again I've been given power enough
to change the world. This time, Lord...
              Let me be worthy."

Heh what *IS* up with the cover here? I usually don't complain about the art but that Kyle is just so wierd. Is it supposed to be 'impressionist' or something?
