I could've lived with this cancellation more than Lost Army, but if it truly is being done in response to fan support and/or respect for the creators' plans, than score one for the good guys.

They should have cancelled Omega Men and given Lost Army until issue #12. It's much better.

Besides, issue #3 only had 13k copies ordered by retailers, and probably HALF of those copies are still collecting dust on their shelves. I can't imagine how bad the sales will be by #12. Scooby Doo will outsell it.

Sswweeeet. Out of the 3 titles [that I was most disappointed about] that were cancelled I was most worried about this one, JLU and Lost Army can always be retitled into something else, but once Omega Man is on the chopping block who knows how long it would be to have another space title [especially with Lobo now being gone too] that isn't part of a colored ring corps.

I kinda feel the same way in that while I also like "Lost Army," John, Guy, Kil et al will resurface and their story will be told in some way. For the Omega Men, and this story in particular, if it had been aborted, that most likely will be the end of it and nobody would attempt another O-Men series for at least a decade.
