How long will Dial H for Hero and G.I. Combat last?

I don't know why they didn't combine Men of War and Blackhawks from the start. Same shit, different areas. Now we have this awkward title for the exact same idea with new creators. I'm willing to give all these a chance but damn if I expected far more interesting titles to start the "2nd wave"

I don't know how much clearer readers can send the message to DC: "we don't give a fuck about your stupid war books."

Dial H for Hero has always been an awful concept. China Mieville's a great author, but you can't polish a turd.

...and NONE of these 6 new titles belong to the GL verse?! FO' shame, Geoff Johns, FO' Shame!!!

Come on, a book titled "Green Lantern Corps: Reserve" focusing on the "spare" lanterns that are always flying around Oa wouldnt work?... because lets face it, if all lanterns are guarding their sectors ...who the eff are these lanterns wandering on Oa all the time?!

Or a "Blackest Night: The Hunt" book á la Justice League Dark? -- A group of misfits (maybe, Solomon Grundy, The Question, Huntress, Black Lighting, Green Arrow and Major disaster) hunting down the remaining black lanterns that Nekron left behind?

---anyways, I believe that, with the exception of Batman Inc, Earth 2 (just cuz there are SO many people who love the JSA, and for pete's sake I can't understand why!?) and maybe, just maybe World's Finest (gotta love PowerGirl), all the other titles will also face termination within 6 to 8 months. What's wrong with DC? Can't they spot a train wreck before they publish it?!

It's not like the cancelation of any of the titles mentioned comes as a surprise... I mean, did anybody read OMAC?... YUCK!

O.M.A.C. is the best of the titles that are being cancelled and I certainly enjoy it more than some of the stuff that'll still be around post-May.

OMAC was so much fun. Sad to see it go. I may give Earth 2 a shot, I've always wanted to read about the good ole JSA.

I do love the JSA, but I've got a bad feeling about this.

James Robinson loves Golden Age Earth 2 JSA stuff, it's his bread and butter. His Shade maxi series is great, and I'm sure this will be good to.

Right, but the focus of the book is on Earth 2 as a whole and adventures through the multiverse. I've got a feeling editorial may give the JSA short shrift.

                            I loved O.M.A.C.

I read both the original series from Kirby and the new one. They cancelled it at the exact same number they cancelled Kirby's original book...that's just trolling <_<

But, I did want a book set somewhere in the Multiverse, so Earth 2 is a good start.

If the same James Robinson who has been writing The Shade these past couple of months shows up, I'm all in.

This is completely and utterly off topic, and I'm aware I'm adding nothing to this thread by bringing this up, but every time somebody uses that expression now I always think of the Mythbusters episode where they demonstrated that you actually CAN.

                                I love that show.
