  • Finally I have ALL of my Gl comics in one place!

Since I moved from Tennessee in Febuary, due to space restrictions, all of my GL collection ( Vol.2, 3 and 4) have all been in storage.

Recently thatnks to the quarter bin at my LCS and several flea markets I have been able to amass quite the collection of Vol. 3 Kyle issues. And along with the newer stuff I've been getting I have amassed quite a collection of stuff here too.

Today I finally grabbed my GL box out of storage and brought it home.

So for the next couple of days or so I will be going through EVERYTHING and finally organising it.

So EVERYTHING GL that I own is finally in opne place within easy reach.

No one else I could tell about this would give a shit so I am forced to hope that you guys are excited for me.

Believe me it will be a chore but it's gonna be a labor of love.

So how are you going to organize it? Publication chronology? comic timeline chronology? If you have GL and GLC, will they be mixed, or separate? Will Annuals and other special issues be on their own, or mixed in where they fit according to some form of chronology?

        So many decisions!

I know exactly how you're feeling right now Ennis. I had the same problem up until June of this year. all of my Back Issues were stored at my mom's place.

Actually I usually try to stay in chronological order by title, except in the cases of crossovers. Sin corps will be put together in the order they fall in and such like that. Various one shots and mini series will usually be put to th eback. It is a very strange system.

My freinds can't make heads or tails out of it but it makes sense to me. LOL!

I've been rebagging and backing boarding stuff all night it's AWESOME!!

Congratulations! Enjoy putting them all in order. Nothing is more relaxing than going through a nice pile of comics.

Not sure if this is just me, but did anyone else completely understand the scene in High Fidelity where Rob (John Cusack) reorganizes his records after the break up as a comfort?

Great movie, great book. I love Nick Hornby.

                Indeed!

I absolutely have my entire 21 box collection arranged in chronological order... not by title, and not by publication but by story. So one could sit down with Box 1 and read straight to box #21 and get the whole GL story in linear fashion.
