Hal was the GL when I was growning up but Kyle is the one that made me start really reading GL, all GL books so its Kyle the Torchbearer for me .

I'm sorry. I am a huge Hal fan, but Hal was the consumate "hero" from the start. He was fearless, a test pilot and apparently even as a rookie could out ring sling the best GL out there. It was all given to him. Time and again tho, the "new guy" had to step up and through all his self-doubt and fear of failure overcame it all to save the universe. That was Kyle's greatest strength. He taught the Corps that a GL could experience fear, but had to rise above it and overcome it. Kyle was the kid who was handed the most powerful weapon in the universe and after ten years of strugle brought the corps back to us. Hal fans have to admit that without Kyle,,,,NO Hal,,No Corps! So my vote went to Kyle.
