  • who is NEKRON! *Possible Spoilers from Blackest Night #8*

    ok look at Nekron.

Why would he just out of the blue pick Black Hand's symbol as that for the Black Lantern Corps, why would Black Hand.....a literally nothing character suddenly become something big........why was it that Geoff Johns said Hand would play a big part in Blackest Night yet from what we have seen he did nothing at all..............

Well....now after all that......look at Black Hand at the end of Blackest Night #8...........Nekron just is, time has no meaning to him whatsoever............WILLIAM HAND IS NEKRON

No. Black Hand is William Hand. William Hand is the Black Incarnate. The Black Incarnate is the Entity of Nothing-Ness. Nekron is the Darkness of the Universe. He is Death. Nekron is the Black. They are two complete different people -- or things. Nekron is Death. Black Hand is Nekron's Gateway into the land of the living, aka the entity of the nothingness. Black Hand is only shackled up in chains cuz he's either been forcibly deputized into the Indigo Tribe or A Prisoner of the Indigo Tribe.

and yet they both look similar, especially with the chains and everything.

And if like you said, Nekron was the big bad by himself, why use the Symbol of Black Hand, why make him pretty much second in command (on par with Scar), why base some much on a nothing of a character?

Both want death, both want "peace", we never actually see this "Black Incarnation Entity" cause that is Nekron

Is it? It never was before. Nekron was always his own Being, one that resided in a place between life and death, limbo basically.

And look at the Chains that Black Hand is in now and the Scythe looks similar to the Indigo Staff he wields and Nekron was shouting he wanted peace like Black Hand yeah this is definitely a good theory.

Probably why the Indigo Tribe took Black Hand.

lol I just pointed that out on another site :P

actually here's my post from the other site (being the DCU Msg board)

to Nekron time is nothing, this was explained when Kyle Rayner first met him.

At some point Black Hand will die, Nekron has the exact same chains as what the Indigo tribe has put on him.

Nekron holds a staff (made into a Reaper Staff), Black Hand has the Indigo Staff, set up of both is nearly identical.

Both love death, they both want peace, silence and nothingness.

Why else would Nekron even use Black Hand for anything, he literally was nothing in the whole event, all he did was dig up clone Bruce's head (another thing I figured out from the get go), walk around a few cemeteries, and then said "Nekron Rise"...........thats it. Geoff Johns said he'd play a big part in Blackest Night, that was nothing big, you could have had a no name person do that.

Nekron's past is unknown, but what is known is that he was tortured (the chains) and obviously was made to do things against his will (Black Hand being part of the Indigo Tribe), Read the last page of the book of the black, William Hand has a lovey little plea in it.

.................all piece fit as far as Black Hand will one day become Nekron

That's actually a very cool and interesting theory.

C'mon, no need for quotation marks. It was an event, a very crappy one.
