How the fuck is the Anti Monitor over used. We have seen him like 12 times IN 25 PLUS YEARS

He's a villain. He's a dictator. He's a murderer. Redeeming him would mean taking away one of the greatest villains in GL history.

i do think gl needs a new villain badly because imo the anti monitor is way to repetitive. my suggesttion would be make the guardians the bad guys because for the lie of bn prophecey and the white enity and also how life originated from earth. the guardians can be a real threat if wanted to be and the story can have all corps colors basicly fight the guardians also they can make sinestro more of a nuetral type of charachter

Green Lantern looks exciting this month. I like this entity storyline though I hope that the storyline starts getting more exciting with these Entities over Lobo.

I donīt see them sticking around for much longer if Legion of Three Worlds is any indication.

Iīm curious about having a non sane Red Lantern as a character tho. Will they give her actual lines?

I wouldn't be surprised if she's saner than they have let on thus far.

That said, I'm looking forward to some normal Green Lantern stories; I'm enjoyed Blackest Night and am giving Brightest Day an honest try, but I'm ready for the mythology building to slow down. I'm curious if Johns is capable of telling some smaller, self-contained Hal stories.

GLC and Emerald Warriors both look awesome. I'm more interested in the plot threads of both of those titles than I am in regular 'ole Green Lantern.

Considering Johns WANTS an annual Crisis event I'm not sure he's capable of that either. I wouldn't be surprised if Johns himself knows if he's capable of writing smaller non-Crisis events or not.

i dont see how new characters make a story crap, i mean...from the looks of things (someone mentioned it) u explore more of what was established already (in this case..blue and the entity), even if it is from a new character

Explore? everything is set on earth by the sounds of it, here we have one of the few comic books that has the entire universe to play with, yet everything happens on earth.

Yeah new characters dont make a story crap, but you dont need them to make it good either, I cant even remember the other Blue Lanterns apart from the elephant man and walker theirs plenty of things for them to get into right there alone.

Sodam Yat got pulled out of the sun by a (possibly renegade) old time guardian who first pulled Ion out of him and captured him

Thank the Heveans Sodam Yat has been set free now he can be useless outside the sun too, especially since he lost the only thing that made his character interesting, atleast to me.

You know what, I dont care about them, never have, im way more interested in the leaders of the corps, parrallax was fun in rebirth, ok in SCW and then got old in BN, hopefully BD is going to end with them all dying apart from Ion, but if Ion has to go as well it wouldnt bug me too much, doubt their could be a 3rd torchbearer anyway, that angle has run its course I think.

For sure, and the character that needs it the most imo is Hal Jordon, he has become quite a boring character.

Yeah that was one of the reason I stopped reading it, another 3 years in an event every year is too much for me, I just want a good standalone story or arc that last 12 or less issues.

Imagine if this guy collecting the enties is not revealed till 3 years later like Nekron.

Or like Nekron someone else is watching him fail, only for them to come out shadows and say, "ha Nekron and Guardian "X" thought they were the answer to the universe, but really its me, and now its my time"

What else needs developing? They tied most if it up in a pretty little bow after Blackest Night. There is a truce. Atrocitus still hates anything Oan but is willing to maintain the peace for now. The Entities are an important cog to THE Entity.

Sinestro is a still mass murderer, who is roaming the Earth...And I'm supposed to believe that finding the White Entity is more important than KILLING(which is what the Guardians ORDERED him to do) Sinestro? Why the fuck does he really care about the White Entity? He's supposed to be protecting his sector not on a journey to find an Entity that has very little relevance to him. Why is a truce needed with ANY of these "New Guardians"? There are no Black Lanterns threatening each others' home planets. Larfleeze is allowed to roam Earth? WTF?! Hal Jordan should be detained by the Alpha Lanterns for being a shit protector. He's bringing more shit to his planet(and sector) than any other sector combined. For crying out loud, SAINT WALKER is still on Earth. Thanks for helping with the cleanup buddy, now could you tell me why you're still here? Your "Corps" doesn't even have a Guardian!

I'm not saying that these silly entities don't deserve to be revealed, but there are gaping holes in this story and we're already headed towards the next big villain story. If Geoff Johns wants to be the master of GL continuity, then maybe he should keep track of the shit he does. I don't want to have to wait 3 years to see these things addressed. Most of it could taken care of with the first issue out of Blackest Night instead of rehashing what was in Brightest Day....
