His goal was to humiliate Kyle further, and he got what he wanted. Sinestro would prefer inducing fear and awe (if he could) before death.

And yes, I love the Weaponer as well. He could be polite and gentle, and the part when he apologized to Natu for talking about killing her father was a decent facet. Of course he's not a good person but certainly not without redeeming quality. He's more like a dude who's passionate about inventions and kinda went array due to bitterness.

Sinestro fought both Hal & Kye in SCW. I really didn't like that part of that story. I felt it should've been Hal vs. Sinestro without rings, but Kyle would step in to save the day towards the end of the fight. Instead we had both of them man handling Sinestro through Coast City.

So kudo's for the writers and artist for that awesome square off. Love how SN doesnt give a ish about Weaponer trying to kill her dad and also how she saw those people on that planet needed help and she's willing to go help cus she's a nurse. She's an awesome GL

How can you say this after Tomasi's boring, flat, terrible characterization of Kyle Rayner and

    ???

Natu has a flat personality so it's a bit hard for him to do anything but make her IC

Sadly if that happens I wouldn't be surprised if Sinestro beats Hannu and badly at that. With GL the movie coming out next summer Hal and Thall will be in their Mary Sue glory.

We all know that when a writer resorts to using over-sized panels (3 or 4 per page) as well as full and 2-page spreads, every 3 or 4 pages, It's because he doesn't have much of a story to tell (and therefore is doing a mediocre job on a book).

I haven't been happy with GLC since Bedard took over. It seems to me like it's a little bit more of a chore for Bedard to write it than anything else.

Bad dialogue (fisticuffs enabled?!...jeez), horrible characterization (everyone's personality seems identical as well as flat), and a simplistic and pointless story; Not to metion the fact that the book is a complete waste of an artist.

I'm dropping GLC until War or the GLs.

Let 8-year-olds enjoy his mediocre storytelling.
