I just don't think that John Stewart is that significant of a Corps member. I wish he would be gone for good, but I am sure there will always be a place for him in Green Lantern lore. But the issue really packed a punch, and all this does is set the pace for the next issues. I say welcome: WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS has begun!!!Comment

This and GL #64 both let me down a bit. Really? Parallax infects the Corps and turns everyone EEEVVVVIILLL ? Some pretty weak Willpower displayed by the entire f'n Corps for them to just be taken over that easily. At the least you'd think some might have the intelligence to rip the Ring off their hand as soon as they felt something "infecting" them. But, since it is a nod to the past, with the Yellow Impurity and all, I'll hold off judgement for now and hope for the best.
I just can't imagine an entire Corps, 7200 strong, standing there when this happens:

This was so awesome, I loved Kyle, John and Ganthet's interactions together and Ganthet's sacrifice. Yeah I can definitely see Kyle as a Blue Lantern in this event and that will be so freaking cool.
