  • Yeah, I can totally see a guy our government suspects as a terrorist working for the JLA formed by that same government. Should go over great......

    • Ah, so JLI's UN and JLA's US governement. WHat's the point of closing JLI, why not just add more member to that? Martian Manhunter's in the new JLA, but he was in JLI pre new 52. Just add half of JLA to JLI, and mebers of JLA to JL. If JL has Cyborg, it can have hawkman. Also, I'd sooner have John than Baz in JLA, John's well known for being in the JLU cartoon, but Baz is well known for nothing. I say they should have had JL be called JLA, keep JLI as it is, same with JLDark, and have a JLTask Force run by Martian Manhunter which does all the "dirty work" for JLA and would be like dr whos torchwood, but with justice leagues instead.

Many of my classmates had to stay at teachers' apartment to avoid persecution. Fear was indeed powerful, enough to drive people to enjoy hurting innocents.
Not in my neighborhood. White, black, yellow, red, and brown joined together at Seattle's Saint James Cathedral under the leadership of Catholic, Protestant, Buddhist, and Islamic pastorage for a week of prayer vigils following 9-11. On the one year anniversary we gathered at Safeco Field to honor the fallen by the "Rolling Requiem" and listened to Mozart together. I have several nephews who have served their country in Operation Enduring Freedom and never had to fire a shot in anger. Cooler heads can and must prevail.

Has everyone read closely? Arab-American. Arab-American. Arab-American. Some of you youngsters out there were still in diapers when this all came down eleven years ago. What's the difference, then, between now and the culture of death which led to Japanese interment? German exclusion? Irish extermination? The Know-Nothing movement? Andersonville Prison? The Trail of Tears? Or any of a thousand other atrocities in American and world history we could name together?

Bravo, DC, for trying. But beware of relevance in comics. It can trap you.

Yeah, that is very curious. And since the feds know it was a GL ring that busted Simon out and they know his tattoo, I'm not buying that the costume fools them.

Yeah, we simply don't know yet. If you mean why is DC doing it, obviously because they think they can profit from another JL title. As to the internal reasons, the preview at the end of Justice League 12 said the JL can't be trusted any more. So, my bet would be something happens to hurt the pr of the JL and Waller, who already hates them, uses it as an excuse to make an equally powerful team the US can control and challenge the original league if necessary.

          • If they stuck Baz in GLC and John in JLA I could live with that. It seems to make more sense than having an unknown GL be a main character in a major title.

            • At this point it time, I need to see where it goes into Rise of the Third Army and JLA starting February before I make any final judgments.

I would've liked that. Still throw Baz with John in GLC and if Guy dies he replaces him. If Guy lives give him his own book.

                • Guy is too awesome to jerk around. Keep him in GLC right in the middle of things. Kill Baz offscreen like Poochie from the Itchy And Scratchy Show.

I was in upper state New York when this happened, now I live in Seattle as well. From what I gathered though, some Islamic churches received death threats for the years to come.

Wow. Even took away her kinky hair and lightened her skin. I mean, I've seen that with human characters (ex. Empress from Young Justice), but I never thought that would happen with someone who's any alien. That's pretty pathetic. To be fair, maybe the artist didn't have a refrence or said artist was told to redesign her.

Well some GL is dying probably. Though with the Fall of Guy Gardner happening who knows.

                              • ...or they can do to Baz what they've done to the other unwanted characters (Sodam Yat) and never speak of him again.
