NAH. It was too busy being GL:NG 12.1 That was the most non "prequel" ever.I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

I'm still trying to figure out how the hell Kyle/Carol missed seeing the Guardians and their 3rd Army, yet dealt with the rest of the Black Lanterns that the Yellow Battery/Green rings didn't take care of. You'd think Ganthet and Co would have been like "oh, that rogue GL we've been sending bounty hunters at is here on Earth, lets have Black Hand kill him too!"

I think the origin story was established it was a govt agency not established with anyone else. They never even knew Kyle's name, and Alex didn't say a word to Force before being killed. So they only had photos, the CPB fragment which Kyle later turned into his battery, and the bum.
In fact, the only thing that Kyle's initial arc that needs the most reconning is Alan Scott's appearance that introduced Kyle to the DCU/GLC backstory. They could probably just say it's Batman now. Other than that, A New Dawn is pretty much stable. Just have the time displaced LA be random and not attached to Zero Hour.

NG established that Ganthet trained Kyle so it's easy to say he filled him in on the Corps.
Didn't Major Force know Kyle's identity? I'll have to go back and re-read that issue. I mean, he tried to kill his mom much later on, so he obvious found out what it was. I guess it's possible Quorum (I think that was the agency that Force was working for) never shared Kyle's identity with anyone, but ... that's not very believable IMO.
Of course Captain Atom was revamped, and possibly Major Force as well, so I guess it could just be some random villain that killed Alex and not one backed by Big Brother.Last edited by Gauntlet101010; 10-02-2012, 06:27 PM.

Looks good, I hope we actually get to see Hal and Sinestro and more about what's going on with them. I really don't care for Simon, well let's see if he grows on me.No Sir, I punched the viceroy in the stomach, then I headbutted him in the face. Sir.-Hal Jordan
