Goddamn Baz has to go. Every issue with him in the spotlight and Hal on the back burner is an enormous buzzkill. Fucking terrible.

Not only does Baz and his story not matter to me at all, but the whole "Zombie Invasion by Not-Zombies" route Geoff is going feels very flat. It's a step down from Blackest Night.

On a side note, the Rotworld "Zombie Invasion by Not Zombies" story in Animal Man and Swamp Thing makes this looks like a kiddies book. Geoff wants us to sympathize for some unknown GLs family? As far as Buddy Baker and Alec Holland know, their families are dead and gone and the world is pretty much beyond repair.

Today was one of the first days I thought to myself "maybe you should drop GL...", which despite not caring for the majority of it for the last 2 years, I hadn't considered before. Not a good sign.

I'm gonna buck the trend here. I think Baz's story is pretty good. It just comes at the expence of characters I'd rather read about, so I'm somewhat impatient for it to end.

I'd kinda rather see GLs and the other corps losing to the 3rd Army rather than just suddennly seeing the effects.

I be more happy with this if this turns out to be a home grown terrorist story and of course Baz was racially profiled when the truth comes out. Hence, why he ends up on the JLA. However, I agree, the 3rd Army story line seems to be moving way to slow unless you are in the other GL books right now.

I don't think they'd be allowed to tell the story any other way. It'd be racially insensitive. The story pretty much writes itself.

Yeah I don't understand why they didn't release a book staring Simon in the Third Wave and let Hal, Sinestro and Black Hand share Green Lantern. It would have made them more money even!

Johns said Simon was essentially him. Johns' claims he is half-Arabic and gre up in Detroit.
