So I thought I'd post just to say I'm really looking forward to meeting you in Dallas this year, I'm hoping to pickup a lithograph or two as I really love the art you've done.

That said, what would your reaction be to having someone ask you to sketch Flash pulling the mask off Zoom (scooby doo style) to reveal he's been Wyle E. Coyote this entire time?

Well, let's diffuse this right now. Thank you for the rings. I have one of them on my shelf. I wouldn't flip you off if I took a photo of me wearing it for you. Nor did I ever refuse. I just didn't realize how much it meant to you. That a photograph of me wearing your art has value to you is flattering, and so I apologize for not doing this sooner.

Wow it's been almost a year since all of this ring /photo stuff went down. Since then I have matured greatly and would like to offer you a most sincere apology to you Ethan As I never really understood what kind of stress you deal with at a show until this past weekend @ Heroes Con in Charlotte. This was my first show as a vendor and I was stressed enough as it was. I can't even begin to imagine being in your shoes, when you go home at night and pound drawings out for the commissions you took earlier in the day. I guess I really misjudged what all details and preparations go into making a show happen and looking back at these post I must say I am quite embarrassed as to how childish I was. I needed my ass kicked and for someone to say get over yourself your rings aren't all that.....yet! LOL But in all seriousness Ethan please accept my apology and I hope to see you again at Heroes Next year!

EVS was just at a LCS close to me last weekend, and he said he is getting out of doing conventions and the like- He hates not being with his family, and is going to focus on staying home, working on his books, and spending time with his wife and son.

I am pretty stoked I managed to meet him before he stopped doing public appearances

Hey Ethan. Seeing you're online (or atleast you are were when I last looked), I have a question/request for you. Alot of people don't like Kyle Rayners design much right now, so I have some micro heros that have what I'd like Kyle to look like.

I think this one dosen't stray too far from the rest of the corps, but it still looks like Kyle would wear it.

If Kyle ever became Ion again, then I think this is the way to go. I'd love a response and I'd love it even more if you asked the artist working on new guardians or whoever is incharge of Kyles look what they think of these designs. Thanks for your time!
