Not a horrible issue, but certainly a weak one to end the series on. I do like Hal's don't-back-down attitude. That's very Hal.

Oh, you're assuming they're going to actually pick up in this storyline and not just drop it?

I fully expect Krona from "Lost Army" to show up and take away the Gauntlet in the first page of "H&GLC", neither to be seen or heard from again...

If they were switching writers, I would be more cynical, but Venditti will probably tie Hal's Ion-like transition into the Gauntlet somehow. I would be very surprised if he didn't.

Yes. While I wouldn't be shocked if they just dropped it, having Venditti still on board makes me think the Rebirth issue will just close out this chapter of Hal's life and set up the new series. Maybe Hal will use all his Krona energy to get the Corps home. (It would also smooth things over with John who saw Hal seal them behind the wall)

I still haven't been to my local shop yet. I was going to go last week, but I saw on Diamond's site that Swamp Thing was shipping late. With only one of the two comics coming out that I was getting, I said screw it. Now this week I'll have GL: EoO, GL, and Swampy.
