  • Geoff Johns writing "The New Golden Age," new JSA and a "Stargirl" mini

... and yes, Geoff absolutely seizes the opportunity to briefly mention his dead sister in regard to Stargirl, which he never fails to.

Speaking of seizing opportunities, he obviously read my posts here where I proposed just that.

I said that Guy should take the role of Starman, but otherwise it's my proposal.

I also stated that Geoff shouldn't be the person to write it, because he won't respect the source material. He forgot to include that part in his pitch to DC.

I had a lot more ideas for it, and I'm glad now I didn't post them.

I'll mention two though. I was going to change Green Arrow's name to the Bowhunter, and the Martian Manhunter's to the Seeker.

It's readily apparent that DC is jealous of Marvel's successes and Marvel is jealous of DC's successes, and both copy/steal/mimic each other regularly. But it's sad to find out that "the Hollywood steal" of listening to a "little guy" propose a storyline or movie, which then comes out months later, but without the little guy's acknowledgement, is being used. So the little guy doesn't get any profit from the multi-million-dollar movie. Now I'm seeing it elsewhere - like Trey Strain above.

I just listened to an 18 May 2022 Coast2CoastAM radio show on podcast about an Artificial Intelligence and cyborg-future scientist who was contacted by Hollywood to consult on an A.I. movie. The scientist was thanked for his time, but his input was not paid for. Months later, Transcendence (2014 film) was produced with Jonny Depp in the star role.

        Typical.

Before Charles Beaumont became a successful writer, he suggested to someone in Hollywood that a comedy movie about Abbot and Coslello going to Mars might work. The man dismissed it, and Beaumont was later stunned when Abbott and Costello Go To Mars was released.

Geoff can't deny that he swiped my idea. It's right here, with all the dates listed on the posts.

How many months will it take to get the issues out?
