    Brightest Day #22 PREVIEW
Writer: Geoff Johns & Peter Tomasi
Artist: Scott Clark, Joe Prado & Ivan Reis

    --------------------------------------------

Not a bad issue, but I preferred the last few to this one.

For me, as a reader that hasn't followed this that closely, I felt a bit lost in regards to Firestorm.

Just seemed a little too complicated and cluttered.

Still, what we saw and learned from the White Lantern Entity was worth it.

    Pretty good!

HOnestly...the whole issue came off as pointless!

They Made Deathstorm come off as more of a threat than the Anti-Monitor....geez....

I don't think there was enough hype for it to be disappointing. It was just bad and boring.

If one could equate Blackest Night to Crisis (and that's a miracle onto itself)....then Brightest Day is surely a very poor man's Millenium!

I just read it and I didn't think it was that bad. I like that Deathstorm has a personality that resembles Deadpool. I could imagine Deathstorm coming back in future DC books.

I did think it was a lame mission for Ronnie to complete to have his life returned.

I'm curious to see what the White Lantern took from the Anti-Monitor.

I really liked this issue finally two more issues to see what finally happens can't wait. Really enjoyed seeing the Anti-Monitor vs Firestorm and see Deathstorm get destroyed.

This issh was alright. Some cool Firestorm action, capped with yet another death (didn't we JUST deal with this?). The Anti-Monitor needs to be put away for a long time...Johns can't write a big event without including it.

I'm ready for this mini to be over with. It's had a handful of exciting moments, but they all seem disconnected. If Krona is swinging over from GL to be the deux ex machina villain, there's little time to bridge those stories sensibly. The resurrected characters' stories are connected only by the Macguffin White Lantern, which I'm sick to death of. The Martian Manhunter and Aquaman stories were satisfying, but the rest is disjointed and tired.

Well I gave this a 4 primarily for Deathstorm out of all the characters used in this series he is by far the most interesting and it actually made his tie in with GLC make more sense (that is not saying much because before this it made no sense). I cannot wait for this to be over...oh wait we have a mini after this maxi!! The Search!?!

                          Fucking END this thing already!

What? Two issues left? Then an "Aftermath" mini series? I need a time machine to get me to the next boner killer in comics.

                              Nope. Not at all.

Looks like the White Lantern Hal in the pic above won't amount to anything.
