Haters gotta hate. If you hate GL so much just leave the board. I am sick to death of all the GL trashing that's going on around here.

Probably not GL, but without Guy on GLC it will be interesting to see it the book will hold my interests...

Look at my post, did I see any where I hated Green Lantern. No. Some people leave books after a certain story line has been done. Blackest Night is the end of Geoff Johns first big story line.

I've dropped GLC, but I plan on keeping Green Lantern.

Unless it ties in so thickly with Brightest Day that I would have to read that too. Which I'm not doing.

Actually if anything, now I'll be picking up two more books with GL: EW and Brightest Day, on top of GLC and GL. What a time to be a fan.

The action in GLC has been great the last few issues of GLC! It's been a lot more entertaining than GL during all of this.

My problem with GLC has always been that there are too many things going on to really focus and explore the characters. I know they do, but sometimes I just think its too long. That being said, not dropping any GL related book

It's ironic to me the high level of character exploration and character arcs we see in GLC given the number of characters in it... when in GL, which is just about Hal Jordan, there's none of that at all.

I'll be on at least as long as Mahnke is.

                            well, not lately anyways.

then again, GL isnt about Hal anyways, but is simply the platform for Johns to continue telling a megastory of the DCU as GL-Hal encounters it.

Yeah I'd like to see more of that in Green Lantern more going into the depths of Hal but Geoff seems to like to write huge big events and focus on every other supporting character in GL's character more than his.

I was actually going to quit GLC but because of the Creative Team Change and John Stewart and Ganthet being added to the cast and John Stewart being in the cast and not a co-feature and the price not going up makes me want to keep getting it and can't wait for Guy's book to come out.
