Hey guys, a bit confused help please!

Hey guys.
I just started getting into Green Lantern when I saw the Hal EW cover. Ever since I have fallen in love with Green Lantern but I dont understand a few things. Hope you guys can help me out as I will be forever greatful.

1. What is "Emerald Hal" I love green it is my colour since I was a child but I dont understand how and when can turn all green? Dont get me wrong I love it i just dont understand how it works. I know he turned green in 'First Flight' but has he ever done it before and do you think he will do it again?




2. What is the deal with Green/Blue Hal? I dont get it? How does it work? What is the purpose? Also are the Blue lanterns good guys?


Lastly do you think Hal will go all green at some point in the movie? During Toy Fair we have seen various Hal figures will his costume mostly green. Do you think he will "Power Up" and his whole costume will be all green at some point in the movie?

Well here are my answers


1-Hal take some Kyle features in the First flight movie , like when he turned Ion for first time. So he doesn´t turned all green in previous arcs and I dont think that he will do it again.

2-Read the comics since rebirth issue #1 to #5 and after the vol 4 since #1 to #62 . The blue lanterns are also good guys , there are more spiritual.
The hal green-blue was the result of the red lantern hal , saint walker left his own ring to put on hal finger. the blue ring destroyed the red one but he doesn´t have hope. so he was green-blue hybrid.

2. There wasn't really a purpose to it, Hal practically wore every ring during BN for no other reason than to sell some figures best I can tell.

I would suggest reading the build up to BN, I thought it was good. Once BN started it fell way off to me.

Hal's uniform looks almost nothing like the comics. It seems to glow a brighter green whenever he uses his ring, so the toys might just be doing the same.

Despite that one figure, he never went Sinestro Corps either, right? Sinestro probably has a fail safe just so Hal never can yield the yellow. Still no Indigo either.

IIRC it happened to him in v3 of the book, when his lantern exploded and he tried to use all of that nrg to fight an alien armada trying to hurt an old friend of his........
