Weird.... I JUST NOW finished reading Last Will and Testament of Hal Jordan. I hadn't read it before. It was really weird. But good I guess. I was going to post a thread about it. But since you're question kind of eminates from the book, I thought I'd contibute here.

Is this book supposed to be canon with the current continuity? It kind of confused the shit out of me. Boodika wasn't "Lost" and how did Kilowog come back. I get the whole "Marty" being a sentient form of Hal's ring energy, but, why? I don't get it. I guess I liked the book. Best part was that they basically explained that a GL could take down the whole Justice League. But there was just so much that didn't really add up with the way things are in Vol 3.

That's the other thing too. They seemed to have limit a GL's power these days. In reading Emerald Dawn II and Last Will and Testament and other pre-Vol 3 stories. The rings seem sort of limitless. With the ability to pass through walls, teleport, go invisisble, create realistic full colored constucts, etc. Can the rings still do all this or has it been changed since the CPB was repowered?

well i guess the rings power also depends how the writer (Geoff) imagines it to be used.

lol Interesting point of view. The power/abilities of the ring aren't limited to the imagination and willpower of the ringbearer... but the ringWRITER!
