Is that JLA the actual debut? Or a reprint of #1? I find it hard to believe that with 52 variant covers, a JLA title would debut so poorly.

What's funny is that they are essentially taking the backup strip from a failing title and using it to launch a NEW title. How popular can a Larfleeze book possibly be?

I imagine Threshold will be gone by issue 10 to 12. If it even makes it that long. One less thing to buy for the GL books. After GLTAS goes, and until Threshold bites the big one, that's still 6 regular titles for GL fans to buy.

The other thing that could happen is that Caul stops being featured in the main strip and they focus on other characters like they said might happen. In which case, I can also drop the book.

But the amount of relevant storyline they can put into those new books depends on their sales numbers IMO, e.g. if these sell poor they can't (or won't) put a lot of important storyline into them, because no one is going to read that.
To me especially the larfleeze book and threshhold are somwhat add ons to me. Even Red Lanterns doesn't seem THAT important to me, when I just want to follow the main GL Universe Plot. And to be honest, I like it that way.

Some analysis: Earth 2 continues to do well.
You may be surprised to see the main GL title down in position while the other three are a little higher. However, if you compare the actual numbers you'll see the numbers sold are reversed (GL sold a few hundred more copies this month than last and the others sold a few hundred less). The positions have more to do with the competition in April and aren't reflecting a significant drop in readership.

Though Larfleeze sold the worse out of the GL titles, it still debuted at a decent number. It also sold better than the book that Larfleeze was a back up feature for (Threshold), which could have benefited from better sales had they sold it as a Green Lantern title.

Red Lanterns is also still selling well. As are the rest of the GL comics, even without Geoff Johns involvement.

Superman Unchained unsurprisingly took the top spot (wonder how long that’ll last).
