Who's YOUR 'Trinity'?

If I'm correct, there's a Trinity comic coming out soon starring the DC 'Trinity', Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman.


But who's YOUR Trinity? Who represents the DCU for YOU? You don't have to throw in a woman to be politically correct. This is aaaaall us.


For me, it'd have to be...


Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
Green Arrow
The Flash

Hal to replace superman as the representative of the superpowered people, Green Arrow to replace Batman as the power-less heroes, though it was a close call. As far as powerless heroes go, it's hard to beat out Batman.
The Flash has always been the glue that holds everybody together. I think Leagues work better when the Flash is a main character. In a world where -everyone- moves super-fast, it's hard to make a name for yourself when that's ALL you do! lol Gotta give him props for that alone!

If you were asking my favorite three, I'd go with three GLs. But as far as what represents the DCU for me? I really have to stick with Batman and Superman even though I'm not THAT interested in reading about them, and my third would be a GL (probably Hal). For me, Wonder Woman is pretty irrelevant. The character just isn't that spectacular or iconic, IMHO, and has had very little influence over the DCU in general. The only ones that are truly omnipresent and iconic seem to be Batman and Superman. If I have to pick a third, I'll go to the sizable second tier and pick the hero I enjoy the most, which is GL.

They are the ones I think of when I think of DC comics and are my favorite 3 characters to boot.

GL/GA (Hal, Ollie) and Hawkman.

A long story with Hawkman not getting along at all with Hal and Ollie could be fun.

But I like Batman quite a bit. He just gets a lot more face time than my other favorites.

And I don't mind Superman or Wonder Woman, and also like Powergirl, but these three have to be written just right, and their characterization tends to be all over the place.

Thor has always been number one on Marvel for me. Always will be. He's right up there with GL in my book.

Captain America is not one of my favorite characters, but he does embody everything that is Marvel, and is a hugely iconic character. Him standing up against IronMan and the registration... him dying... He really is one of the best characters in ANY comic universe. I have a huge amount of respect for this guy.

Nightcrawler. I think he is one of the most underrated characters in Marvel. Now, if it wasn't Nightcrawler, I'd say Spidey. But Spidey is OVER rated, IMO. Nightcrawler has been run out of towns because of his appearance alone. He's been a swashbuckler, a priest, a carny, the leader of his own team... And he always seems to keep his faith and keep a smile. He's another one of those characters are is right up there with GL for me.

I'm loving what they're doing with Thor recently. Bringing him back to his Norse roots, I think. And putting Asguard in Oklahoma!! I swooned!! lol *Is from Oklahoma*

And I rushed out and bought the issue where he hands Ironman's ass to him as soon as it came out. Best issue EVER.
