I don't even come here for GL anymore, I come for the other stuff that's on here.

I suggest consolidating some of the sub-forums. There are an over-abundance of them, and the activity in some doesn't warrant having them, imo. I'd really shrink things down. For example, I'd axe all the sub-forums for previous volumes and replace them with a Classic sub-forum... or something. I'm not sure about the name, since not all of those comics are "classic," but I think the idea gets across. It might help discussion if people don't have to bounce all over the forum to find discussion. And for whatever it's worth, the forum would appear more active if things aren't spread as thin, which may make it more attractive to potential members. I also might have one forum for all the current GL books, too, instead of giving each one their own forum.

When asked about the movie I say that It was dissapointing to me in Two ways. First while entertaining,it was not the complete adaption I wanted, I am a little tired of explaining to joe average why GL is cool. I was hoping the movie would capture the over all experience,To show the outsiders why we love GL.

It was fair, maybe good, but not great. It followed basic comic book movie formula, wich is why I often wondered why it gets slammed so much.

Oh don't remind me! The animated series was SO good! It's early cancellation was like one more swift kick to the balls.

Multiple series to flush. Movie was lackluster but tolerable, speak for yourself, I still watch it about once a month. Animated series was damn good and cancelled, now we realize because of a change in creative direction. Several of the long time regulars left, but here you are again, with your 4,000+ posts. Some staff left, hey people come and people go. GL in general not grabbing tons of new fans...well, what would when heads and plot lines are rolling down the gutter. In season and out of season, a few remain true believers. No one wants to talk about what I want to talk about, so I share your miasma.
